Lawyers. Everybody hates them until you need one and if you happen to be a celebrity chances are you need one...a lot.
Charlie has checked into rehab because his reps say that he's been "slipping" with his drug and alcohol problem. This could have been a big problem for Charlie as it is a violation of his parole. However his lawyers seem very confident that this will not pose a problem because people can say what they want about Charlie drinking, you have to prove it in a court of law and Charlie's lawyers are paid very well to make sure that does not happen.
As for his show "Two and a Half Men" if Charlie can be back on the set in two weeks they can finish making the last six episodes of the season. Maybe it's just me but rehabbing Charlie Sheen in TWO WEEKS sounds like a pretty tall order to me, maybe two years...maybe.

Balloon Boy dad gets 90 days.
Richard Heene has been sentenced to 90 days in jail with 60 days work release. Personally, after the stunt this dude pulled I think he got off pretty damn easy. With all the rescue workers, law enforcement involved. I mean c'mon! The bloody FAA had to divert flight off their courses! The police were cosidering dropping a guy on top to the thing to try and get it down. All the people involved were concerned for a young boy's life. One of these rescure workers could have been killed! All this for a damn reality show. How desperate are people to get on these things??? His wife got 20 days that she can serve on the weekends. Considering she knew of the plan and went along with it, she got off pretty damn easy too. Well, I think it may be a long time before they ever think about pulling a stunt like that again.

Nick Hogan's having a tough time in jail! My heart bleeds.
Now that Nicks in the general population, let's intensify the sob story because HE'S the one that's suffering. Boo hoo. People magazine reports (with inserted commentary courtesy of me) :
"They had broken his spirit," (sniff, sob) Brooke Hogan, 20, tells PEOPLE. "When they put him in solitary, he was on the outs. I was worried about him, and his safety, and his well-being (I know Brooke. It keeps me up at nights too)." But now that Nick's out of a 28-day stint in solitary where he was rapidly losing weight, and in the general population (he's gotta be lovin' that!) with more privileges (like rape!), he's turning back into the little brother she knew (the kind that drinks, drag races and gets people brain damage???).
"We get to visit him three times a week like everybody else (when we have the time), but it sucks," she says. "I can't just walk over to his room and give him a hug, or talk to him, or confide in him. ... At least he's not locked in hell (have you ever been there???) , basically. And his personality is slowly coming back. I bring that out of him (no comment)." Nick, who just turned 18, is serving an eight-month jail sentence for reckless driving in an August 2007 car accident in Clearwater, Fla., that left friend John Graziano incapacitated for life. (incapacitated??? He's got a fucking hole in his fucking HEAD!)
Brooke, who is currently starring in her own reality show, Brooke Knows Best (I wouldn't bet on that one) , on VH1 says her brother's fame (???) has caused him trouble (it's not "fame" causing him trouble in jail Brooke, it's called prison justice) in jail – but nothing he can't handle (WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT!!!) . "He's been threatened," she says. "Thank God he's big and he can hold his own." (BIG??? Look at the picture Brooke! I could beat this dude up!)

Boy Dr. Phil, this really blew up in your face!
Well Dr. Phil you got the media attention that you wanted but not in the way you wanted. Is it ok if I just call you "Phil"? You know since you don't have a licence you're not technically a doctor are you? You know who else knows? THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY!!!.
TMZ reports:
TMZ has obtained a copy of a complaint against Dr. Phil which was lodged with the California Board of Psychology, alleging the TV doc was illegally practicing without a license when he paid a visit to one Britney Spears.
We've learned the person who filed the complaint is a psychologist. Dr. Phil has never been licensed to practice in California, and he retired his Texas license in 2006.The shrink believes when Dr. Phil visited Brit in the hospital earlier this month, he was practicing psychology. A "Dr. Phil" honcho told TMZ the visit was never meant to lure Britney onto the TV show -- and that there were never plans to put her on the air.
A Psychology Board rep told TMZ if the Board finds the complaint credible, it would be referred to the D.A. for review. Practicing without a license is a felony in California.
Pay attention to that last sentence Phil, the operative word is FELONY. Good job slick, I hope they nail you to the wall.

Judge Jackie Glass Is My New Hero
She threw the fucking book at O.J. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
TMZ reports:
At today's bail revocation hearing, Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass was all over Simpson, strongly chastising him for not paying his previous $125,000 bail, saying, "I don't know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking -- or maybe that's the problem -- you weren't," adding, "I don't know if it's just arrogance. I don't know if it's ignorance. But you've been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance -- or both."
And with those lovely words for the Juice she doubled his bail to $250,000. So now O.J. has to put up his house as collateral. Friggin beautiful! She also made it a point to warn him that if he violated any of the terms of his bail he'd be locked up before the trial even starts.
I love this woman! Please tell me she's going to be the judge in the trial too!
